Parts used- leaves & flowers Strong flavoured, hardy evergreen shrub. Flowers come in blue, pink or white. Grows up to 6ft depending on variety. Likes a sunny position and well drained soil

Good flavouring for lamb.

Medicinal uses, restorative tonic for colds or flu and nervous tension. Good for the memory.

Thyme

Parts used- leaves Used for culinary dishes, best varieties Porlock or broadleaf of the upright varieties. Choose creeping types for lawns and ornamental areas, a good bee attracting plant. Plant in sunny well drained position.
